Melissa Diane Ray

Passed away suddenly in Thomaston, Georgia. She is survived by her son Bobby Ray of Atlanta, GA and her father Warren Weishaar and brother Mike Weishaar and sister Terrea Weishaar. Melissa is preceded in death by her mother Susan and her brother John. Melissa was born November 17, 1957 in Odessa, WA to Warren and Susan Weishaar the family lived in Oregon for several years before settling west of Davenport and she attended school in Davenport where she graduated in 1976 and later attended cosmetology school at Spokane Community College and worked in Spokane for several years before joining the TSA at the Spokane International Airport where she worked until her health forced her to retire. She moved to Reno for a short time before moving back to Davenport and then moved to Georgia to be closer to her son. Melissa loved poetry and was a great artist and loved to draw. She als had a strong faith in the Lord. A celebration of live memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of STRATE FUNERAL HOME, Davenport, WA with Rev Louis Claassen, officiating.
