Ruby Lee Jackson

Ruby moved to Washington, D.C. in 1965. Wonder Bread/Hostess Cakes employed her for more than 26 years as a senior account specialist. After the company closing; she became employed for 10 years as a finance manager at George Washington University.

She accepted Christ in her life at the age of 13 @Beulah Baptist Church in Arcadia, VA. She was a member there until joining Shining Star Freewill Baptist Church in Seat Pleasant, MD on Easter Sunday of 2001.

Ruby preceded in death by three sisters, Elaine, Shirley and Geraldine Robinson; two brothers, Howard and Wayne Robinson. Ruby is survived by her four daughters Katina Foreman, Tyo Hodgins (Laney), Toi Hodgins and Sno Rush (Russell), all of this area. Loving grandmother to ten grandchildren, LeShaun Robinson (Tisha), Terry Jeter, Sergio Hodgins, Billy Springs, Ashley Fowler (Chris), Byron Rush, Raven Hodgins, Zeriah Hodgins, Desmond Springs and Tre' Rush. Three great-grandchildren, Khamaiya and Shaun Robinson and London Hodgins; dear sister of Rebecca Deyo (Boyd), Annie Rollin (Emmanuel), Yvonne and Jacqueline Robinson and five brothers, Sugar Ray (Louise) of GA, Larry (Connie), Ovander (Wanda) and Mark Robinson (Cheryl) of VA, Ervin Dudley of MD as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
