Betina Giglio

Betina Giglio was born in Port-au-Prince, HAITI to Marie Therese and Roland Giglio on January 16, 1966. She went to school at BOCES Rockland County, NY. She never got married. she graduated from BOCES Rockland County, NY at the age of 22 years. she worked in various clerical jobs from the age of 22 years to 51 years of age. She stopped working in 2016 after suffering from two strokes. she received 1st and 2nd place in swimming in the Rockland County, NY Special Olympics.

Betina Giglio is preceded in death by her mother, Marie Therese Giglio, deceased in 2020 and her father, Roland Giglio, deceased in 2017.

Betina Giglio is survived by her two sisters: Nadja Giglio-Joseph and her spouse, Yves Joseph, Guirlhaine Lynne Giglio-Chancy and her spouse, Georges Loubert Chancy, her niece, Sukiana Theresa Chancy and her nephews, Georges L Chancy II and Mikhail Chancy, her only surviving aunt, Jeanine Giglio-Champagne and her only surviving uncle, Michel Bredy and an extensive number of cousins.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, December 6th, 2025 at St. Bartolomew’s Catholic Church. Viewing will take place at the church from 9:30am to 10:00am followed by Betina’s funeral mass from 10am to 11am. Burial will take place at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery from 12noon to 1pm. Everyone is invited to the Celebration of Live luncheon to take place at KASA CHAMPET RESTAURANT & LOUNGE from 1:30pm to 6:00pm. KASA CHAMPET RESTAURANT & LOUNGE is located at 7920 Pines Blvd, Pembroke Pines, FL 33024.
