Born on March 4, 1946, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Manuel was the son of Manuel Lebron Parra and Maria Marte. He pursued his ambition of becoming a physician at the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD) School of Medicine, graduating on February 25, 1971.
In 1973, Manuel married the love of his life, Rosalia Abyar Peńa. Shortly thereafter, they began building their life together in Puerto Rico before settling permanently in Miami in 1980, where they raised their family and created a warm and loving home.
Manuel was an avid computer user and true technophile, always curious and eager to learn about emerging technologies. He had a passion for airplanes and flight simulators, and he found great joy in classical music and jazz. A devoted student of both United States and Dominican history, Manuel was deeply proud of his heritage and valued knowledge and education throughout his life.
Above all, Manuel will be remembered as a generous, humble, and kind-hearted man who devoted himself entirely to his family. His quiet strength, steady guidance, and unwavering love were the foundation of his family’s life.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Rosalia; his daughter, Susana Stiffler; his son, Manuel A. Marte; his grandson, Devin Stiffler; and his cherished dog, Benji. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rosalba Marte.
Manuel’s legacy of love, dedication, and integrity will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
