

Yves Delva was born on July 20th, 1955, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He possessed an unwavering spirit, one filled with love, strength, and a deep commitment to supporting others. From a young age, Yves displayed a natural gift for connecting with people, always offering a listening ear, a word of encouragement, or a helping hand to those in need. With a heart full of compassion, Yves was known for his ability to care for others. Whether it was in his personal relationships, professional life, or community involvement, he made an impact that cannot be measured by words alone. His legacy lives on through the countless lives he touched, each one enriched by his warmth, wisdom, and selfless nature. Yves found joy in spending time with family, helping others in his community, and pursuing his passions. He was a pillar of support for family, friends, and colleagues alike. He faced every challenge with grace, determination, and a steadfast belief in the power of faith and hope. Throughout his life, Yves achieved many professional milestones. Yet, it was the relationships he built and the kindness he shared that truly defined his remarkable journey. Yves leaves behind a legacy of love, inspiration, and resilience. Yves Delva, 70, of Port-au-Prince, Haiti, passed away on December 2, 2025 in Hollywood, Florida. Yves was born in Port-au-Prince to Claire Cherisier and Edouard Delva on July 20, 1955. He went to school in Port-au-Prince. He worked in cement manufacturing for CEMEX for over 30 years. He received numerous professional awards. Yves is survived by his spouse, Marie Monique Desir Delva, his children, Ashley Delva, Stephanie Pierre, Jennifer Pierre, Scheila Pierre, Nathalie Desir, and Nathina St. Felix; his sisters, Marie Jossy Delva Roméus and family, Marie Nirva Delva and family, Marie Alice Delva and family, Josianne Delva and family, Jacqueline Delva and family, and Carole Delva and family; his brothers, Eddy Delva and family, Etzer Delva and family, and Daniel Delva and family; his grandchildren, Dariane Celia Cherubin, Destiny Rouby Cadet, Jasyra Claire Cadet, Isaeah Rouby Cadet, Javaria Nevaeh James, Alana Celine Pruitt, Zaevan Zeri Cherilus, Zayia Haishah Cherilus, Nasiyah Schezie Baucage, Naelle Nalina Petiote, and Amyah Nadine Delpeche; and great-grandchild, Saniyah Celia McNeill.
