Ann C. Morgan

MORGAN, Ann Casey passed away quietly on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at 10:00 pm. She was surrounded by her husband, Lee, and her four daughters – Chris, Peggy, Laura, and Beth. Ann and Lee had been married for 63 years and had been holding hands for 69 years. She and Lee found their true home and raised their family in Dayton, Ohio. She was an educator with the CCD, and director of Children’s World. She was a gardener and a master bridge player. She enjoyed the company of her friends, and going to the theater. And she made killer pies. She is survived by her husband, Lee Morgan; daughters: Chris (Don) Gardiner, Peggy Morgan, Laura (Richard Johnson) Morgan, and Beth (Mark) Hamelberg; grandchildren: Casey Gardiner, Matt (Emily) Gardiner, Maggie (Kevin) Hoy; Anna (Kris Collins) Johnson, Amelia Johnson, Isaac Johnson, Morgan Hamelberg, and Patrick Hamelberg; three great grandchildren: Courtney and Catherine (Matt and Emily) Gardiner; and Callie (Maggie and Kevin) Hoy; and by her sister, Peggy Gaskill of St. Louis, Missouri. Annie will be missed. Memorial service is to be held on Thursday, July 18th, at 10:30 AM at Woodland Cemetery at the "Look Out" Columbarium in Dayton, Ohio.
