Meier, Arnold L. (Arnie), passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Cecile Meier. He is survived by his wife Sylvia Meier; children Scott Meier of Dayton, Janene Collins and Dawn Meier both of Kettering. Five grandchildren: Jennifer Meier, Tanner, Alex, Conner, and Jillian Collins; sister Joyce Hanes (Gary), and close friend Karen Arnold. Arnie retired from Inland Div. GMC in 1992 after 36.8 years of service having worked as an Engineer, finishing his career as a Senior Buyer for facilities, tooling and services. He is past President of Crestwood Swim Club and the Inland Retirees Club. He served in the U.S. Army and is a member of American Legion Post 598. He enjoyed fishing with his friends in Sandusky, OH; the times spent with his buddies at Lake Cumberland and the Incredibles. A memorial service will be held at a future date.
