STEMEN, “Arnie,” age 66 of Riverside passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Zella Mae (Grimes) Stemen; and his niece, Zoe Mae Newman. He is survived by his children, Sam Stemen, Emily (Chris) Grashel, Zachary (Tara) Stemen; granddaughter, Zella Jane Grashel; sister, Katie Sutter; brothers, Roger (Pat) Stemen, James Stemen and lifelong friend, Kevin Schmidt. He was a mentor to many throughout his life. Arnie had a profound love for nature as being a scout master and explorer he instilled this in his children as well as those around him. A funeral service will be held at 2pm, Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BELMONT CHAPEL. The family will receive friends from 1pm until the time of services at the funeral home.
