Barbara Doebereiner

DOEBEREINER, (nee Matthews) Barbara M. of Kettering, Ohio, passed away January 5, 2013. She was born April 2, 1930 in Marietta, Ohio to Jessie B. and James L. Matthews. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Glen. Barbara was the Beloved Mother to Michael (Lisbeth), Rockford (Shelia), Dirk (Kimberly), and Kami (“Mitch”) Mitchell. Cherished Grandma of Erin, Sara, Seth (Sarah), Hunter, Kira, Dane, and Quinn; and Great Grandmother of William and Alexis. Adored Aunt to Karen (Curtis), Terrell (Debbie), and Jack (Billie Ann). She graduated from Grant Hospital School of Nursing in 1951. Barbara was a longtime member of Sugar Creek Presbyterian Church. Memorial service 6:30 pm Friday, January 11, 2013 at Sugar Creek Presbyterian Church, 4417 Bigger Rd, Kettering, OH 45540 followed by a gathering of friends in the Fellowship Hall. A private burial was held at Miami Valley Memory Gardens in Centerville, OH. The family wishes to express its appreciation to the staffs of Miami Valley Hospital, Miami Valley Hospital South, and Hospice of Dayton.
