He is preceded in death by his father Gregg Locher. Bradley is survived by his mother Kay Locher, brother Jeffrey (Amy Thomas) Locher, nephew Beckett Locher, Aunts Fran (Joe) Freiman, Lois (Emery) Erdelyi, Molly Dean, and cousins Jonathan Freiman, Matthew Freiman, Christopher Erdelyi, and Michelle Erdelyi.
As a boy, Brad went to Beavercreek Schools and played for the Celtics select soccer team. He developed a love of music and became an amazing guitar player.
At Ohio University, Brad studied audio engineering and played in bands, thriving in passions that continued after he earned his Bachelor’s degree. In Chicago, he worked for a pro audio hardware company and was a guitarist in multiple experimental rock bands.
Brad’s career stalled during the Great Recession, and after he moved back to Beavercreek, chronic health problems made it hard for him to do what he loved. His family appreciated having him home because he helped care for his aging dad who passed away in 2020.
Brad cared deeply for his friends and family (including dogs), and he made sure they knew it.
If you shared a love of music with Brad, please bring a music- or audio-related sticker or flyer to the visitation on Friday so he can take it with him. If you can’t be at the visitation, send stickers and flyers to Brad in care of Tobias Funeral Home in Beavercreek.
Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, September 22, 2023 at the Tobias Funeral Home, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. with interment to follow at Mt Zion Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Friday, September 22.
