

Candace Sue, “Candy” Hendrickson, age 56 of Beavercreek, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Ruth Hendrickson and her grandparents. She is survived by a brother, Fulton Hendrickson of Beavercreek, and several cousins on the Hendrickson and Bennett sides of her family. Candy was a 1977 graduate of Dayton Christian High School, a 1981 graduate of the Ohio State University and received her MBA from Wright State University in 1983. She was employed by the AFLCMC Comptroller at Wright Patterson Air Force Base for nearly 30 years and was a member of the Gem City Sweet Adeline Chorus. Candy was a very generous and kind person who loved to help others. She was a tireless mentor to many. She loved to watch movies and listen to music. She was an avid Ohio State football and Cincinnati Bengals fan. She loved and cherished the many pets she had over her lifetime. She touched the lives of many people and will be missed greatly. The family would like to thank the caring staff of the third floor of Miami Valley Hospital and the many doctors and medical professionals who cared for Candy over the years. Thanks also to the wonderful medical staff and volunteers at Hospice of Dayton who made Candy’s last days peaceful and comfortable. Thanks as well to Candy’s many faithful friends and family who lovingly supported and cared for her. Friends may call at the Tobias Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. on Monday evening, June 15, 2015 from 5-8 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday morning, June 16 at 11 AM. Interment in Abbottsville Cemetery will be at 1 PM Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice of Dayton in Candy’s memory.
