Carl Junior Back Jr.

He was born July 8th 1932 in Breathitt County, Kentucky. The oldest son of nine siblings of the late Carl Carlie Back and Lulu Wooton Back of Mount Sterling, Kentucky.

Carl married Mary Napier Back May 17th 1952, they were married 52 years. To this Union was born two sons, Carl Jr III (Susan Bridges) Back and Gary (Sandy Pack) Back.

Carl worked at numerous coal camps, many farms, drove delivery trucks and retired from John A. Becker Electrical Supply Company after 47 years as a warehouse manager.

Survivors include one sister Betty Purvis at Fort Wayne Indiana, both sons, grandchildren Carl Jonathan (Kelli) Back, of Vandalia, Ohio, Jenny (Elija) Blevins of Auburn, Illinois. Jessica (Matt) Back-Saylors of Vandalia, Ohio. Amanda (Steve) Back-Serrer, and Ashley Back of Huber Heights, Ohio. Several Nieces and Nephews, and eight (8) Great-Grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary, daughter-in-law of 47 years Susan Bridges Back, along with his brothers Riley Back and Pearl Back. His sisters Jeanette Riley, Hazel Lawson, Fay Gunnell, and Shirley Lawson. Brother-in-law's, Getter Riley, Gene Lawson, Bert Gunnell, Floyd Day Lawson, and Johnny Purvis.

Services will be conducted at Tobias Funeral Home 3970 Dayton Xenia Road Beavercreek Ohio 45432 visitation viewing will be Thursday, June 12th, 2025 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Service will be 1:00 Friday, June 13th, 2025. Interment at Woodland Cemetery.
