

Breitenstein, Carl C. “Farmer”, age 86 of Beavercreek, passed away peacefully at home August 30, 2015. Carl was born March 8, 1929 in Dayton, OH to Anthony and Rosaline Breitenstein. He is preceded in death by his brothers Harold, Paul, and Robert Breitenstein, and his son-in-law John Frounfelker. Farmer is survived by his wife Betty Smith Breitenstein of 59 ½ years, his children Daniel, Karen (Brad) Gardiner, Carl E (Karin), David (Alissa), Donna (John) Zahora, and Sandy Frounfelker, his brother Thomas (Barbara) Breitenstein, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends. Our special thanks and love are given to his children David, Donna, and Sandy for all the wonderful care given to him during his battle with cancer. He retired from Kelsey-Hayes Division of Speco, Springfield, OH. He was a life-long member of the Falcon Club and the McDonald’s Breakfast Club. He very much enjoyed his garage, the outdoors, and had a unique wit and sense of humor that everyone enjoyed. A memorial visitation will be held from 6pm – 8pm on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia RD at Grange Hall RD. Private inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family at Calvary Cemetery.
