I only spent a brief time with her and would have loved to get to know her better, but in the brief amount of time spent with her -- I knew she was a kind and caring person, loved by many.

She may have left this world, but Heaven gained another loving soul.

Jeff I'm so sorry about your mother's passing. I wish I had gotten the chance to know her better but the day I met her I knew she was kind and caring and loved to laugh. I'm sorry we can't be there with you for the service but know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. The lasting memory I have of her is of her smiling.

I will miss this lovely woman and very dear friend.  My sympathy to her children and grandchildren.

Jeff - So sorry to hear of your mom's passing. Even though the time that I was able to be with them was so short, it was so obvious the sweet spirit that surrounded both your parents. The kind of folks that make me realize another of God's blessings by His placing them in my life. Meeting your parents just further confirmed to me the extraordinary man that you are and how proud I am to have you as my brother-in-law. My deepest sympathy to you and Karen as well as the loved ones and friends of your mother. I know and pray that God's comfort and peace will be with you in the coming days and months. I'm sorry for your loss.  You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Prayers and condolences to all of you. Both of your parents were always so great, even when Tracy and I would stay out late in college. I wish I could've gotten some good German food to Carol Anne last week. You guys were blessed with such a fun, sweet mom. Nice to know that she's enjoying her time with your dad now.

I am saddened to hear of your mom's passing!  Both your mom and dad were very gracious people and fun to be around.  I know you are blessed with many wonderful memories.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all!

I got to know Carol every February when we would visit Jeff and Karen at the same time.   I will really miss seeing her and spending that time together.

I really miss Carol's many e-mails that I received regularly until her illness.
Have known her for approximately 55 years and remember the day we met in front of my house on Joel in Toledo when Kim was 6 months old.  We had many good times back in those years.  I remember Howard and I standing up in the church when Jeff was baptized.  I am very sorry I will not be able to make it to the funeral or calling hours as it is too far for me to drive over alone and Laurie isn't able to ride in car that far with her back problems.  I will be keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers.
