Carolyn J. Grove Bailey, 88 of Dayton, Ohio passed away Monday, May 4, 2026 at her residence. Carolyn was born in Dayton, Ohio on October 25, 1937 to the late Roger and Lillian (Jayjohn) Grove. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Roger Grove and her son David Nagy. She is survived by her daughters: Terri McCauley (Billy) and grandson Eric Gustafson, Stephani Bailey and granddaughter Malia Bailey, brothers Charles Grove (Kathy Falensky), Robert Grove (Judy), as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Carolyn graduated from Roosevelt High School. Carolyn lived a quiet life. She cherished her family and had a deep love for animals and pets. She enjoyed cooking, especially for loved ones, traveling, birdwatching, classic movies, mystery novels, and nature. She was a business woman, entrepreneur and co-owner of a successful company.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all those who knew and loved her.
