Celeste Beach

BEACH, Celeste M. Age 94, of Beavercreek, died at Kettering Hospital on Saturday, May 10, 2025. She was born on March 4, 1931 in Dayton, Ohio. Celeste was preceded in death by her parents Harry A. and Olivia M. Wagner, her husband Joseph P. Beach Sr., whom she married on June 9, 1951, her son, Timothy J. Beach, and 5 siblings. Celeste is survived by 11 children, Joseph (Brenda) Beach, Jr., David (Connie) Beach, Gregory (Kim) Beach, Teresa (Larry) Bedwell, Rita (Fred) Scheidweiler, Julie (Tom) Armentrout, Lisa Beach (Rob Smith), Nicholas (Julia) Beach, Phillip (Melanie) Beach, Anthony Beach (Karen Cash), Mary Ellen (Jonathan) Seiter and daughter-in-law Karen Beach. She is also survived by 33 grandchildren and 51 great-grandchildren. Celeste graduated from Patterson Co-op and worked for various companies throughout the years as a secretary and bookkeeper. Joe and Celeste were founding and active members of The Church of the Ascension in Kettering. Joe and Celeste enjoyed raising their 12 children while instilling good work ethics and family values. Celeste was also active in the choir and quilting group at Ascension Church. She enjoyed sewing, reading, crosswords, music, crochet, quilting, playing cards and spending quality time with family. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road. Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 15, 2025, at The Church of the Ascension, 2025 Woodman Drive. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Park Cemetery.
