

HUMFLEET, Charles A.”Tony”, a longtime resident of Montgomery County, Ohio, passed on to be with his Lord on Tuesday, November 8, 2011, with his family by his side, at Sycamore Medical Center. Tony was the son of the late Fee and Zanna (Cotha)Humfleet of Dayton. He is also preceded in death by his older brother J. Wayne Humfleet. Tony was a Belmont High School graduate and attended Sinclair Community College; and retired from a long tenure with Cargill, Inc. (Dayton). Charles “Tony” Humfleet was a proud United States Navy veteran; a mason and a past deacon at Colorado Avenue Baptist Church. He was much loved by his family and friends. Tony is survived by his childhood sweetheart and wife of 44 years, Brenda (Roberts) Humfleet, their two sons; Todd A. Humfleet of Union, Ohio, and Aaron W.(Dawn) Humfleet, grandchildren; Adelyn Grace and Noah Wayne Humfleet, sisters; Jauiwanna(Ed)Grimes, Faye(John)Faulkner, Janice(Rev. Tom)Kesinger, and Patricia Humfleet, mother-in-law Marcella Roberts, who shared a very close and loving relationship, sister-in-law Pamela(John)Kaiser, who loved him like a brother, and nephew Doug(Denise)Kaiser and their three children. Memorial service 2:00 PM Saturday, November 12, 2011 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-Far Hills Chapel; with Pastor Rob Wackerman officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Tony’s name to the Hospice of Dayton 324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton, OH 45420.
