Charlotte R Davidson

DAVIDSON, Charlotte R., age 81, passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2016. She was born in Dayton, Ohio to Charles and Anna (Binkley) Rosell and was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles (“John”) Scheffler, daughter and son-in-law Kimberly (Scheffler) and Robert Fourcaud and numerous brothers and sisters. Charlotte is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, William Davidson, daughters Robin Corley (Dan) and Karen Smith, stepchildren Kara Bailey and Daniel Davidson, grandchildren Rachel (Tim), Megan, John (Taylor), Anna, Kyle, Nick, Lynde and Alicia, great-grandchildren Graham and Rylee, sisters Bessie (Jerry), Nita, and Edie, along with a host of nieces and nephews and an extraordinary number of wonderful friends. Best known to all as “Char”, she was an active member of Memorial United Methodist Church in West Carrollton, Ohio, where she sang in the choir and participated in many activities. She was also a member of Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) at Fairhaven Church. Char was retired from State Farm Insurance Company and also served a short time as a secretary in the United States Navy. Char lived a life devoted to serving the Lord and this was shown through her care and love for others. Family will receive friends Monday February 15, 2016 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at the Memorial United Methodist Church 26 N. Locust St. West Carrollton, Ohio 45449; where funeral service will be held 10:30AM Tuesday, with Rev. John A. Guliano officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Char's honor to Memorial United Methodist Church; please designate contributions as “Memorial Fund”. Arrangements were entrusted to the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-Far Hills Chapel.
