Cheryl Lynn Dalton

Cheryl Lynn Dalton , age 65, of Kettering, Ohio. Born November 9, 1958, in Chicago, Illinois went to be with her Heavenly Father September 2, 2024 in Cincinnati, Ohio, at The Christ Hospital. She had a peaceful, gentle passing into Jesus's loving arms.

Cheryl is preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Davis, three brothers, Anthony Whitehead, Gerald Whitehead, and Harold Whitehead. She is survived by her father, Albert Stephens, her twin sister Sheryl Whitehead, sisters Patricia Stephens, Rochelle Ross (husband Jimmy Ross), Ethel Stephens, Anjunette Walker, Anita Kempf (husband Todd Kempf), Tammy Adair (husband Darrell Adair), Bridgette Stephens, Lawanna Harris (husband Marvin Harris), her four sons , Gerald Whitehead (wife Nicole) of Dayton, Ohio, Millard Hunter of Dayton, Ohio, Joshua Hunter of Chicago, Illinois,and Sean Whitehead of Dayton, Ohio, Grandchildren, Keondra Eddies, Kearstyn Hunter, Tristen Whitehead, Cheryl Whitehead, Jeremiah Whitehead, Jordyn Whitehead, Jackson Whitehead, Journey Whitehead, Kameira Hunter, Cameron Hunter, Alexis Hunter, and a host of nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, and a host of cousins. And her very close friends Steven Dalton and Bill Howard, and Renese Joseph-Johnson.

She became a Christian at age 14 at Metropolitan Baptist Church in Chicago, Illinois. She was a praise dancer and singer for the Lord at Victory Outreach Church in Chicago, Illinois. She continued praising the Lord throughout many churches in Ohio. She worked at A.M. Management at Wright State University for 17 years and The Carlyle House in Kettering, Ohio.

She will be dearly missed by family, friends, co-workers, and church family, but we know she is dancing on the streets of gold for her Lord and Savior now. She was a member of New Bethany for Christ Church, Trotwood, Ohio and attended Church of Christ Disciples, Dayton,Ohio. Pastors Charles Simmons and Tony Simmons officiating.

Family to receive friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm Tuesday, September 10, 2024 ath the Tobias Funeral Home-Beavercreek Chapel; where service will be held NOON on Wednesday, September 11, 2024.

Internment will follow in the Valley View Memorial Gardens.
