Chesta Lea Rogers

Rogers, Chesta Lea, age 75, of Beavercreek, passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2018, at her residence. She was born on March 15, 1943, the daughter of Chester L. and Dorothy M. ( Ehrhart) Harshman, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Shelby D. Rogers on November 8, 2012 and her brother, Dennis Harshman and his family. Chesta is survived by her sons, Darryl (Kim) Rogers, Steve (Lara) Rogers; her sister, Berta (Mike) Bockey; grandchildren, Sarah Rogers, Andrew Rogers, Gary Rogers, Ava Rogers and Nathan Long. She was a graduate of Belmont High School, Class of 1961 and had previously worked at Delco Products and Beavercreek Schools. Chesta was a member of the Beavercreek Senior Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 21, 2018, at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road at Grange Hall Road. Interment will follow in Valley View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2018.
