Christine Poole Sullivan

SULLIVAN, Christine Poole of Dayton, Ohio passed away quietly Sunday, January 15, 2017 at 9:55 AM of natural causes at the age of 90. Christine had a complete and fulfilling life and was retired from the March of Dimes. As the Executive Director of a seven county Ohio area, she headed the first in a long series of Walk-A-Thons where proceeds went to fight birth defects in children. Christine was preceded in death by her first husband James Poole, second husband William Sullivan, brother Adam Thomas and sisters Mary Creona, Marie Raptes and Ann Stathes. She is survived by her son Tim (Pam) Poole, grandson Joshua (Crystal) Poole, three great-granddaughters (Chloe, Kylie and Olivia James) and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 5:00PM to 7:00PM Monday, January 23, 2017 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-Far Hills Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will take place 10:30 AM Tuesday, St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, with FA Dan Meyer celebrant. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery.
