Clara Elizabeth Moorman

Clara Elizabeth Moorman, age 105 went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 22, 2025 at Oak Creek Terrace. Clara was born on January 31, 1920 in Spencerville, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents Lester and Blanche Bowers, her husband of 78 years, Rev. Gail Carl Moorman, her son, Gene Moorman, granddaughter, Colette Moorman, grandson, Carl Wayne Ball, son in law, Tom Parker, daughter in law, Connie Moorman, and her 5 siblings, Olive, David, Gail, Dorothy, and Juanita.

She is survived by her children, Shirley Parker, Pam (Tony) Coriell, Gary (Sheri) Moorman, grandchildren, Richard (Mindy) Moorman, Cherie (John) Moses, Channon (Barry) Houston, Stacy (Joseph) Mills, Jason (Erin) Moorman, Justin (Melissa) Moorman, and Nathan (Ashley) Moorman. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, Grace, Danielle, Connor, Camdyn, Turner, Barrett, Luca, Cory, and Cydney, 2 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Clara was a devoted pastor's wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed. A funeral service for Clara will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 28, 2025 at Parkview Church of the Nazarene, 4701 Far Hills Ave. Kettering, Ohio 45429. Pastor Ron Reynolds officiating. Burial Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery, 8135 North Dixie Dr., Dayton Ohio 45414. Memorial contributions may be made to Parkview Church of the Nazarene.
