Born on June 25, 1931, in Phillipsburg, OH, Dale was the son of Howard and Irene (Hupe) Falknor. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Dale lived a life marked by faith, family, service, and community.
He married the love of his life, Gretchen Glick, on June 30, 1956, in Norwalk, OH. They shared 64 wonderful years together before her passing on November 5, 2020.
Dale proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1954 to 1956. A dedicated professional, he built a long career at NCR Corporation. He was a graduate of Capital University and earned a graduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
Dale was an active member of Epiphany Lutheran Church in Centerville, OH, and gave generously of his time and energy to his church and community. His passions included golfing, boating on Lake Erie, traveling with Gretchen, and cheering on the Cincinnati Reds.
He is survived by his son, Kent Falknor, and daughter-in-law, Carolyn Falknor; and by his beloved granddaughters, Madeline Falknor of Nashville, TN, and Abigail (Abbey) Falknor of Charlottesville, VA.
A private family service will be held, and interment will take place at Sackett Cemetery in Lakeside Marblehead, OH. Arrangements are being handled by Tobias Funeral Home.
