Dallas Edmond Sherrill

Dallas Edmond Sherrill, age 77, of New Carlisle, died on Monday, December 9, 2024, at the Villages of Huber Heights. He was born on December 31, 1946, to the late Waymon Richard Sherrill and Martha Elizabeth Sherrill.

Dallas made his living as a ground maintenance supervisor for Wright Patterson Air Forces Base. Apart from working at the base, he owned a locksmith business for several years as well as being an occasional mechanic.

Among is many interests, he enjoyed boating, going to the casinos, visiting the old battlefields of Gettysburg, jogging, and was a Mason. He was a man of God and practiced his faith by doing for others around him. His greatest joy, however, was his family of whom he loved spending time with.

Aside from his loving parents, Dallas is preceded in death by a great niece, Alicia Earley; and one great-great nephew, Highlayn Jenkins.

Dallas is survived by his sister, Barbara Sherrill; one niece, Heidi (Mark) Horne; one nephew, Brian (Rhonda) Earley; six great nieces, Lex King, Mackenzie King, Ashley Earley, Taylor (Joe) Ashhurst, Jenna Earley, Brook Conley; one great nephew, William Mokas; four great-great nieces, Verity Campbell, Emerie Estes, Navaeh Ashhurst, and Christina; two great-great nephews, Ashton Campbell, and CJ; and one great-great -great nephew, Logan Jenkins. He is also survived by numerous extended family and close friends.

Memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2024, in Tobias Funeral Home Belmont Chapel. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the start of the service.
