Daniel Scott Mitchell was a devoted and loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He passed away after a sudden illness on May 28, 2021. Daniel was 42 years old. Daniel was born to Dan and Wanda Mitchell on November 16, 1978 at Mountain Home AFB, Idaho. He is survived by his wife, Sherry Mitchell, his sons Michael (Marissa) and Noah Mitchell, and his daughter Chloe Mitchell. Daniel worked as an aircraft service technician at Wright Patterson AFB, a skill that he developed while serving in the U.S. Air Force. Daniel was foremost an accomplished and talented artist. His work and artistic vision are an important part of his legacy. He looked forward to returning to and exploring the Western United States, where he was born and spent his young childhood. Mitchell Family, I am saddened by the loss of one so young. I worked with Dan for several years at WPAFB before I retired. I remember his humor, laugh, and smile. He drew numerous pictures on the white board hanging on the wall. They always made people smile. He will be missed, but always remembered. My condolences to the family and friends. May God send his peace and blessings to you all.
