

Donald Clyde Dehart, age 86, of Kettering, Ohio, passed away at his home on Tuesday, Sept., 5th, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and Hazel Dehart; wife of 64 years, Delma Jean Dehart and brother, Charles Dehart. Donald is survived by his sons, Douglas (Brenda) Dehart and Timothy Dehart; daughter, Rhonda Strong (Brian Moure); sisters, Brenda (Elden) Atkins and Carolyn (John) Litteral; brothers, Harold (Ruth) Dehart, Dale (Frances) Dehart and Jimmy Dehart; grandchildren, Helen, Doug and Kelly Dehart, Jamie (Brad) Adamson, Clint Strong (Laura Meyer) and Tim Dehart and 10 great-grandchildren. Donald worked for many years at NCR and General Motors and was a devoted member of The Belmont Church of Christ. Donald’s family would also like to thank his nurse at Hospice of The Miami Valley, Cathy Merker and his aides, Heather Dix and Myrtle Hanes for their support and kindness. Funeral service will be held at 11am on Friday, Sept. 8th, 2017 at The Belmont Church of Christ, 3003 Smithville Road, Dayton, OH 45420. Visitation will be from 10am until the time of service at church on Friday. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Donald’s memory may be sent to Hospice of The Miami Valley, 46 N Detroit St # B, Xenia, OH 45385.
