Donald W. Gladish

GLADISH, Donald W., age 85, of Ten Mile, TN formerly of Beavercreek, OH, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 31, 2018. He was born on September 28, 1932 in Petersburg, IN to the late Walter and Opha Gladish, moved to Dayton, Ohio after high school, and worked his entire career at General Motors as an electrician. Donald married Alice Marie Moran on June 2, 1956 and settled in Beavercreek, OH. After Alice’s passing on November 14, 1993, he married Marcie Hughes on September 7, 1997 and moved to Wimauma, FL. After Marcie’s passing in March of 2004, he moved to Ten Mile, TN. He was also preceded in death by siblings Howard Gladish and Virginia Orme. He is survived by his brother Edgar Gladish, sister Edith Stewart, daughters Debbie K. Begley and Penny M. Lovely, son Donald W. Gladish Jr., 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, special friend Betty Moser and numerous family and friends. In addition to his work with GM, Don enjoyed helping others with various home projects, hunting and especially fishing. He had also been a church deacon and youth director at Beavercreek Baptist Church. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be held at 4 pm on Sunday April 8, 2018 at the Tobias Funeral Home – Beavercreek Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 pm until the time of services on Sunday. Interment will be held at 10 am on Monday, April 9, 2018.
