It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Donelle Lynn Stout, beloved sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. After battling a brief illness, Lynn was called home by her Lord and Savior on June 11, 2025, at the age of 77 while resting in her home.
Born on September 29, 1947 to Norma and Rudolph Baer, Lynn was a woman of immense kindness with unwavering devotion to her family. She had fond memories of growing up with her brothers, each who held a special place in her heart. She treasured time and conversations with cousins, nieces and nephews. Her friends: old and new, close and far away carried her as she fell ill.
Married to Ken Stout in October of 1970, the pair were blessed with two beautiful daughters, Joy and Noel, a source of endless pride and joy. She took delight in sharing their accomplishments and family milestones with her friends. She also cherished her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother, spending time with her grandchildren, attending their school performances, and celebrating their various accomplishments with such pride.
Lynn never hesitated to share love and kindness to those around her, often becoming tearful as she told her friends and family how much she loved them and how proud she was of them. She brought a light to every single room she entered with her sense of humor and contagious laugh.
She touched many lives with her grace and charisma. Beyond family, she was also a pillar of support to her community and the biggest cheerleader for all those she held dear. She spent time as a volunteer for the American Red Cross and served as a member of Aley United Methodist Church. Lynn was an avid and loyal sports fan, rooting for her Cubbies, Cavaliers, and Dayton Flyers.
Lynn is survived by Brothers: Ken Baer (Debbie) and Mark Baer (Karin). Daughters: Joy Hoeferlin (David) and Noel Ripley (Chris), Grandchildren: Mikayla Pritchett (Jaime), Makenzie Ciero (Jonathan), and Marissa Hoeferlin. Great grandchild: Ronan Pritchett and Grandpup Izzy Ripley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ken Stout, parents Randolph and Norma Baer, and brother Greg Baer.
A celebration of life will be held on June 20, 2025, at Aley United Methodist Church (4143 Kemp Rd, Beavercreek, OH, From 1pm-2pm). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Red Cross in Lynn’s name.
