Dorothy Helen Glancy

GLANCY, Dorothy H., our beloved mother, age 99 of Dayton passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Walnut Creek Nursing Center. Dorothy was born on January 29, 1913 in Greenville, Ohio to the late Charles and Ada (Burkholder) Kocher. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gorman; son, Robert; grandson, Bryan; and great grandson, Bryan, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Marijane (Bob) Creswell; grandchildren, Janice (Marco) Doemland, Jim Creswell, Dawn (Mark) VanRafelghem, Becky Brown, and Aaron (Natalie) Glancy; 11 great grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, JoAnn Glancy; and a host of other family and friends. Dorothy was a member of Fairhaven Church. Friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 10, 2012 at the Tobias Funeral Home – Far Hills Chapel, 5471 Far Hills Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45429, with the service at 11:00 a.m. Internment Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, 8200 West National Road, New Carlisle, Ohio 45344.
