Dorothy M. Pearson

PEARSON, Dorothy M., age 89 of Kettering, passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willis M. and Mary H. (Basham) Abbott; 1 sister and 3 brothers. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Ernest D. Pearson; daughter and son in-law, Nancy and Mike Tooley; grandchildren, Heather (Dennis Terry) Tooley, Megan (Steve) Procuniar, Christopher (Nalani) Tooley; 6 great-grandsons; 2 great-granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews. Dorothy was a long time attendee of Patterson Park Church and volunteered with flower delivery at Kettering Medical Center. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd. with interment to follow in Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services on Saturday. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Patterson Park Church, the Alzheimer’s Association, or The Hospice of Dayton .
