

Dottie Jean Watson peacefully passed to her heavenly home at the age of 82 surrounded in love by her children and grandchildren. Being born at just 3 pounds and 2 ounces on February 27, 1942 she started life as a fighter as God knew she would become a woman of great character, kindness, and full of love.
Married to the love of her life, David for almost sixty years, and now reunited in heaven. Dottie is best known for her love of Jesus Christ her personal savior, and her willingness to share this love and the good news that Jesus died for our sins with just about everyone she came in contact with.Her God given talent was singing and she was the most amazing beautiful singer! She used her talent and gift to honor and praise God by singing in church choirs.
Dottie was a selfless wonderful mother and wife, along with having a job, as a Mary Kay consultant, while raising her children. She gave birth to a beautiful daughter, Tess, in which out of such a selfless love gave her first born to a wonderful woman who had been waiting years for a baby girl to raise and care for. Many years later she met David and became a beautiful bride. She gave birth to another daughter and then a son. She cared for and provided for their every need. Her passions were loving, providing, and caring for her grandchildren, along with her joy for reading. After her husband, David passed she found a happiness in glitter pen coloring and spending time talking to her children and grandchildren and reading books about Heaven.
Dottie is preceded in death by her husband David Watson, her parents Guido and Gladys(Miller)Crites, and her sister Phyllis Ruppert.
She is survived by her son Duane (Anne) Watson, daughters: Tess Bailey (Ronnie Smith) and Dawn Watson (Bob) Dickeson, grandchildren: Emily Watson; Savannah, Bobby, and Bryce Dickeson.
Family to receive friends 5:00pm to 7:00pm Thursday, August 1, 2024 at the Tobias Funeral Home-Beavercreek Chapel where service will be held 11:00am Friday, August 2, 2024 with Pastor Michael Johnson officiating. Burial to follow service in the New Carlisle Cemetery, New Carlisle, Ohio.
