WAITS, Dwight L. age 51 of Beavercreek passed away unexpectedly on Friday February 9, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Sarah Waits. Dwight is survived by his wife Debra; sons, Christopher (Kathleen) Waits, Matthew (Faith) and Mikey (Elyse) Rakvica all of the Dayton area; and sisters, Ann (Jim) Herbert, and Jean (Nick) Van Loon. He was the owner and operator of Waits Heating and Cooling for the past 17 years. He was a huge “Alabama” fan. Dwight was very humble about giving and helping other people in need. He was a simple man who touched the lives of everyone he met. A visitation will be held on Thursday February 15, 2018 from 4-8 PM at Tobias Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road. A funeral service will be at the funeral home on Friday at 11 Am with Pastor Mark Violet officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Shoup cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Dwight’s wishes were for donations to be made to the American Heart Association Dayton Chapter or to the Susan G. Komen foundation.
