Earl Farmer

Earl Farmer, 82, loving husband to Onieta Farmer passed away on 17 March 2017 having recently resided in Hondo, Tx after relocating from Fairborn, Ohio. Earl is survived by Onieta, his wife of 65 years, 4 children: Reggie (Mark Reed), Terry (Stuart Gyde), Linda (Dean Balsiger), and Janice (Kenny Allen), his brother Melburn Farmer, & sister Carolyn Mitchell. Earl & Onieta were blessed with 22 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter. He is experiencing a sweet heavenly reunion with his parents John & Eula Mae, twin sister who died at birth: Pearl Mae, brother: Charles, grandson: Brian, great grandchildren: Franklin James, Kaylee, Eliana, and a few born into heaven before they could be named.

Born & raised in Ohio County Ky, Earl often told his family stories of his years growing up there, going to school, and working for his family. Throughout his life he has always been a hard worker with a compassionate heart for others. In his adult years he was known in the community for his grocery stores, and in his later years he continued to enjoy working in insurance and rental properties, reading & studying the bible, and sitting on the front porch with his beautiful wife.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 24, 2017 from 6PM to 7PM, with a Funeral Service at 7PM, all at the Tobias Funeral Home, Belmont Chapel, 648 Watervliet Ave., Dayton, OH.
