Eddie graduated from North Dakota State University with a degree in Industrial Engineering & Management, he received an MBA from the University of Dayton, and a PhD from the University of Oregon. Career highlights included working on the development of the F-111 jet, achieving the rank of full Colonel in the Air Force Reserve, and numerous R&D and technology transfer roles at Wright Patt. He also enjoyed teaching graduate courses for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and serving as a Liaison Officer for the Air Force Academy meeting with high school students throughout southern Ohio and helping them through the application and appointment process to the AF Academy.
After retirement, Eddie volunteered at the Air Force Museum and whenever family would visit, they could count on Eddie serving as their knowledgeable tour guide at the AF Museum.
Eddie loved skiing and sailing and especially enjoyed summers in Detroit Lakes MN and spending winters in Sun City, AZ. We were so fortunate to spend many years sailing in MN and Ohio and hiking together as a family.
The family requests donations to Ohio’s Hospice who cared for Eddie with his family during the last year of his life.
