Eleanor L. Eddings

EDDINGS, Eleanor, 94, of Vineyards on Catawba died Sunday, May 27, 2012 at Otterbein Northshore Retirement Village. She was born April 21, 1918 in Logan County, KY the daughter of Thomas H. and Mona (Francis) Thurmond. She married Theodore Ernest Eddings on October 11, 1941 and he preceded her in death on Sunday, May 29, 1994. Mrs. Eddings previously was the dietician for the Beavercreek Schools. She was a member of the Firelands Presbyterian Church, Port Clinton. Surviving are her daughter: Joyce (Tom) Jagucki of Catawba Island; son-in-law: Thomas W. Andrews of Dayton; grandchildren: Todd (Dani) Jagucki of Catawba Island, Tom J. Jagucki of Catawba Island, Ted (Lindsey) Jagucki of North Carolina, Nicholas Andrews of Dayton, Sarah Andrews of Columbus, OH; great-grandchildren: Marissa, Cole and Ryan Jagucki. She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter: Deborah Andrews; four brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be conducted 12:30 pm Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Firelands Presbyterian Church, Port Clinton where visitation will be held from 11:30 am until the time of the service. Additional visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Firelands Presbyterian Church, Port Clinton. Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm Friday, June 1, 2012 at Valley View Memorial Gardens with a visitation at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME – BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. on Friday from 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm.
