

Frommeyer, Elissa Marie, age 36 of Dayton, passed away Monday, June 22, 2015 at the Cleveland Clinic. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Jim and Clara Franz and Joseph D. and Dottie Frommeyer. Two uncles, Jef and Mark Franz also preceded her, as did two aunts, Carole and Mary Jo Frommeyer, and a cousin, Matthew Kates. She is survived by her parents, Jim and Mary (Franz) Frommeyer, a sister, Amanda Frommeyer, brother Jimmy and wife Jena Frommeyer and numerous other loving family members and friends. Elissa had been employed by the Dayton and Montgomery County Public Libraries, Van Dyne Crotty and Cintas. She was a member of Ascension Catholic Church and graduated from Carroll High School; she also attended Sinclair Community College and Wilmington College. She was a wrestling official with the Southwest Ohio Wrestling Officials Association and a charter member of the Dayton-Springfield chapter of the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame as well as a graduate of the City of Dayton Neighborhood Leadership Institute. Elissa was also a recognized contributor to the Smithsonian Institute. Elissa was an athlete by nature and loved to attend any sporting event, be it a cousin’s football game or a Cincinnati Reds game. She loved life in general and all kinds of music. Friends may call at the Tobias Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. on Monday evening, June 29, 2015 from 4-8 PM. Prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Tuesday morning, June 30 at 11 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Ascension Catholic Church on Tuesday, June 30 at 11:30 AM by Fr.
