So sorry to hear of Bettys passing. I did her hair after she moved to St Leonard’s. She was always upbeat and positive. Enjoyed talking about her family . A true gem. She will be missed .

We are so sorry to hear about Betty. What a special person she was. She always seemed so calm and looked on the bright side of life.
We have many good memories of her and all your family. You all always set the best example of what a loving family looks like. We admire you for that.

Remembering your mother and grandmother Mrs. Hecht as we called her (Betty) as a child. Whether it was laughing with just the ladies or the couples having a great time with my parents and the gang at our house, card games, K of C activities and even a few fish fries years later. May the wonderful memories of the times you shared over the years with her bring you comfort, peace and even a chuckle or smile in the days and years ahead. Memories, like fine wine grow more precious with time. My deepest sympathy to all the family.

It was with great sadness that I read of Betty's passing. She and Bob were close friends of my parents for decades and active with the K of C and card club. On June 1st, 2013, I took at photo of Betty with my Mom and Lou Hatton at Betty's home. It was the last photo taken of the three of them. Several months later I lost my Mom to colon cancer and I treasure that picture. My family will keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers!

Thank you for the best snickerdoodle cookies in town and for putting up with us kids running in and out of the house!! To all of the Hecht family!! As you all know... Betty was a champion... a breath of fresh air and a fantastic example of faith and the celebration of life she lived was beautiful....
