Elsie Marie Martin

MARTIN, Elsie Marie, age 94 of Dayton, Ohio passed away on Monday, June 5, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Leona Wendling; husband, Richard Martin; son, Thomas Louis (Linda); grandson, David Louis; and son in law, Tom Parks. Elsie is survived by her children, Sharon Parks, Steve (Connie) Louis, Sharon Schrier, Lorraine Kline, Larry (Rosie) Martin; grandchildren, Michelle Louis, Tom Parks Jr., Michael Parks, Steven Patrick Louis, Kevin (Lori) Louis, Amy Louis, Sandy Phillips, Shirley Jones, Brian Schrier, Joey Martin, Angie Stout; 21 great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Donna (Jim) Rice and nephews, Mike Rice (Carolyn), David Rice (Cindy), James Rice Jr., Doug Rice (Janice). Elsie was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a Cincinnati Reds fan, an avid card player of bid euchre and bridge, a member of the Free Spirits Club, and a faithful member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Elsie will be greatly missed by many and remembered as a fun loving person who loved to laugh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am on Monday, June 12, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, the family will receive friends from 9:30am until the time of mass at church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 2300 S. Smithville Rd. Dayton, OH 45420.
