

Thompson, Florence S. (Flo) a long time Beavercreek resident, was released from her earthly trials on June 7, 2016 at home. She was born January 13, 1937 in Harrisburg, PA. and was preceded in death by her parents, H. Lindley and Esther Seltzer.
Flo is survived by three beloved children; sons, Brad Thompson of Springfield, OH; Dale (Sherry) Thompson of Fairborn, OH; and daughter, Robin Thompson of Bedford, PA; Ron Brandon, her loved and trusted life partner of 30 years and his daughter Dianna (John) Outten and daughter Cori, her cherished sister, Kathy (Stan) Pittelkow of Alexandria, VA; three nieces, Lisa (Scott) Bainer and son, Evan; Michelle Bond, Kelly (Mark) Pico and daughter, Sarah.
Flo retired from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in 1999. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, over 50 year member of Dayton Victory Chapter 594, Order of Eastern Star, was Vice President of South Beavercreek Neighborhood Association for many years. She was well known for her outspoken leadership in local Beavercreek issues, especially as leader of the Citizen's PAC, & Tax Busters, which she founded in 1984. Visitation Tuesday, June 14, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. at the Tobias Funeral Home, Beavercreek Chapel 3970 Dayton- Xenia Rd. An Eastern Star Service and celebration of her life will follow the visitation at 8 p.m. Pastor Bob Brown officiating.
