

Toohey, Francis Michael, age 90, of Kettering passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank M. and Anna Siemer Toohey, sister, Anne Riley and husband, Joseph, sister, Jane Kinzig, sister, Agnes Toohey, niece, Eileen Wead, nephews, Gary Precher and Bill Claxton, great nephew, Kevin Riley, great niece, Megan Bowman, foster son, Kevin Cooney and former son-in-law, Michael Cotnam. Mike is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Audrey Georgia; son, Dan; daughters, Anne (Dave) Acuff, Mary Cooney (Bob) Searls; his sister, Mary M. Toohey; grandchildren, Ashley Plieman, Ben Camacci, Victoria (Chad) Helton, Lexi Teeters, Bakir Mulahmetovic, Shellie Magill; great granddaughters, Brogan Plieman and Cheyenne Helton; two great grandsons, Charlie Helton and Sammy Plieman. He is also survived by former son-in-law, Michael (Diana Collins) Camacci, brother-in-law, Charlie Kinzig; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Mike served in the U.S. Navy during WW II and is a graduate of the University of Dayton. He taught for 32 years in the Dayton Public School System. A Mass of Christian will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 3, 2012, at The Church of the Holy Angels, 218 K Street, Dayton, OH. Interment will follow in Oakdale Cemetery, Urbana, OH. The family will receive friends at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the mass on Monday. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Rachel and all of the "Hospice Angels" for their loving care.
