

Orris, Fred “Bud” Foster, 84, of Xenia, passed away Friday, August 27, 2021. Born to Fred Orris and Ruth (Parks) Orris in Johnstown, PA on August 1, 1937. He attended and graduated from Greater Johnstown High School, Class of 1957. He enlisted and served the US Air Force from 1958-1961 as a still photographer. Following the Air Force he was employed as a steel worker for Bethlehem Steel Corp in Johnstown, PA working from 1964-1969. After working at Bethlem Steel, he moved to Dayton, Ohio in 1969 where he worked as a photo technician for Precision Photos Laboratories until his retirement. He is preceded in death by his infant daughter Tammy Orris, father Fred Orris, mother Ruth (Parks) Orris; brothers James and Paul Orris,; sisters Ida Mae (Dolly) Saylor, Janet (Statler). Survived by his brother Glen Orris, sister Joan Conner, ex wife Beverly (Wagoner) Orris whom he had a married in 1967; sons Jody (Sara Lee) Orris, Timothy (Mayumi) Orris; as well as multiple cousins, nieces, nephews and grandson Ashton “Tora” Orris. Also survived by his close friends Trudee and Bill Wagner. He was a member of numerous churches, including the Calvary Baptist Church in Xenia. He was very active with and touched many lives through Dayton Christian Schools. At time of his passing, he worked as a driver with Key Chrysler in Xenia. His many hobbies included an occasional fishing trip, art projects, the Steelers, and talking about his grandson Tora. A memorial service will be held in his honor at a later date.
