Age 93 of Bethany Village died Monday, January 29, 2018. A 70 year resident of Dayton, Harold was born in Magoffin County KY to Thomas and Anna (Conley) Prater. He graduated from Salyersville H. S., attended University of Dayton, was a WWII veteran, member of VFW and the Parkview Nazarene Church. Harold retired from the service station and auto dealership business.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Marcella (Sparks) Prater, daughters Kathy (C. Daniel) Raisch and Marcia (James) McNally.
Visitation will be at Tobias Funeral Home 5471 Far Hills Ave. 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 2, 2018. Service at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday February 3, 2018 at the Parkview Nazarene Church 4701 Far Hills Ave. burial following at David’s Cemetery.
