Jack C. Joyce

Jack C.Joyce, age 80 of Xenia, formerly of Peebles, OH, passed away Tuesday morning, November 15, 2016 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents: birth father, Clinton E. Joyce; mother, Frances (Bland) Chansler; and step father, Gerald Chansler. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Donna Joyce, two children: daughter Theresa J. Davis and son, Steven G. Joyce. Two grandsons: Aaron and wife Jenny Smith and Shawn and wife Melissa Hudson, as well as three great-granddaughters and a great grandson. Jack was a 1955 graduate of Fairview High School and served in the US Army. Formerly employed at the Montgomery County Sheriff Office, was a Sergeant with the Vandalia Ohio Police Department where he was awarded the Ohio State Highway Patrol Certificate of Merit and retired as an investigator for the Montgomery County Coroners Office. Friends may call at the Tobias Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. on Friday, November 18, 2016 from 11AM–1PM. Funeral services immediately following visitation.
