James Howard Lowery, 72, of Dayton, Ohio passed away Sunday, November 2nd, 2014 at Hospice of Dayton. He is prececed in death by his parents, John C. Lowery and Christine Lowery. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Gloria Lowery, his son James Lowery Jr., his daughter, Mia Rittenhouse, his brother, John C. Lowery Jr. and his grandchildren, Derek Little, Jarrod Lowery, Kaleb Lowery and Rylee Lowery. He proudly served in the United States Air Force during Vietnam and had a 20 year career retiring as a Master Sergeant. After retiring from the United States Air Force he worked in civil service as a contracting officer for 20 years. He was a loyal board member of The New Life Fellowship Church for many years. Funeral service will be held at 11 am on Monday, November 10th, 2014 at the Tobias Funeral Home, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek Ohio. The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, November 9th, 2014 between 2 pm and 4 pm and again at 10 am immediately prior to the funeral service on Monday.
