

James Stuck, "Jim", age 68 of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2019 after a long illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Stuck, two brothers: Paul Stuck and Thomas Stuck, and his beloved dog, Kicker. Jim is survived by his wife of 38 years, Miriam (Barkalow) Stuck, numerous nieces and nephews, cherished cousins, and many friends he considered family. He was a 1969 graduate of Fairmont West High School and his love of racing, music, and the Oakland Raiders was well-known among his friends. Jim saw the world with an artist's eye, creating and curating a collection of the unique and interesting, which he shared freely with friends. A gentle and generous soul, he leaves this world a more beautiful place than he found it. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at the Tobias Funeral Home Belmont Chapel, 648 Watervliet Ave., at 3 PM, with Reverend Deb Holder officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 1-3 PM prior to the service on Saturday, January 4. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to either SICSA or your local humane society in Jim's memory.
