

Jayne A. (Hutzelman) Klein, age 73, of Beavercreek, passed away on November 16, 2021 at Trinity Community Home. She was born on October 5, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Harry V. Hutzelman and Anna G(DeWinter)Hutzelman. On November 16, 1974, she married Bernard F.(Skip)Klein Jr., who preceded her in death on March 4, 2020. She is survived by her loving daughter, Mary Anna Klein of Kettering, two sisters; both of Centerville, Connie and Carol(Jack), two brothers; Jim(Elizabeth) of Kaila Kona, Hawaii, and Doug(Tina) of Centerville, two nephews; Alec of Kettering, and Ian of Centerville, two sisters-in-law, aunt Virginia of Corinth, Mississippi and many cousins and friends.
Jayne was a 1966 graduate of Fairmont East High School and a Licensed Cosmetologist. She worked for many years as a manicurist/pedicurist for La Boutique Beauty Salon in Kettering and then for Bethany Lutheran Village. She retired after working several years for Oak Creek Manor Nursing Home.
Jayne was a member of the Church of the Ascension and of the Our Lady of the Light Women's Auxiliary. Jayne loved to sew and she participated in the making of the quilt every year and in many projects for the Auxiliary. She loved to do needlecrafts and made many afghans for family and friends. She was an avid reader and read many romance novels, fiction, and non-fiction. There was always a project in progress and a partially read book in her room.
Jayne was a devoted wife and mother. She cared for Skip for many years through his debilitating illnesses and was always available to Mary Anna for help and advice.
Family to receive friends Sunday, November 21, 2021 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-Beavercreek Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00AM Monday, November 22, 2021 at The Church of the Ascension 2025 Woodman Kettering Ohio 45420. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the church or the American Diabetes Association.
The family wishes to thank Trinity Community Home in Beavercreek for their loving care of both Jayne and Skip during their residence there.
