Jayne Lou Rathke Nienhuis

Nienhuis, Jayne L. (nee Rathke), age 65, passed away Thursday June 30, 2016. Jayne graduated from Grafton High School in Wisconsin in 1969 and from the University of Wisconsin – Stout in 1973. She worked as a Registered Dietician at St. Elizabeth and Kindred Hospitals retiring in December 2015. She was an avid reader, enjoyed playing solitaire, travel, looked forward to “date nights” and loved visiting family. She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Rathke; and her father and mother-in-law, Wyba and Mildred Nienhuis. She is survived by her husband, Marc Nienhuis. They were married nearly 40 years. She is also survived by her daughter, Anna (William “Noah”) Miller; mother, Florence Rathke; sister, Sue (Robert) Bliese; brother, Jon (Chris) Rathke; and many nieces and nephews. Jayne was loved by her family and many friends. A memorial service will be held Tuesday July 12th at 7:00 p.m. in Epiphany Lutheran Church, 6430 Far Hills Ave. the family will receive guests beginning at 6:00. In keeping with Jayne’s wishes the family requests that anyone attending the service come dressed casually in comfortable clothing.
