HECHLER, Jean E., age 87 of Kettering, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at The Hospice of Dayton. Jean was born on September 29, 1923 in Dayton, Ohio to Edward and Nell White Schulke. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Lucille Harvey, Eleanor Kronenberger, and Grace Allison. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, William J.; daughters, Evelyn Hechler of Kettering and Karen (Donald) Greene of Oakwood; three grandchildren Greg, Mike and Heather Greene; and three great grandchildren. Jean graduated from Wilbur Wright High School and was a member of the Lutheran Church of Our Savior. Jean was also an avid Bridge player.
