

COMER, Jeanne M., 89, went to meet the God of Peace whom she so faithfully served, surrounded by her loving family midst prayers and songs, on 11/23/12. Born in Omaha, NE, on August 1, 1923, she moved to Collinsville, IL, where she met and married her husband, Orville, in 1941. This loving relationship produced 8 children and endured 69 years, till Orville's passing. She worked as an executive secretary for Northrop Corp. until retiring in 1996. With her family raised, she then dedicated her life to promoting peace, where much of her time was spent with Friendship Force International. She was the founder of the Dayton chapter and received many awards as a result of her efforts. In 1983 she was selected as one of the DDN Top Ten Women. Jeanne also felt very honored to have been inducted into the Dayton Walk of Fame in 2000. She was preceded in death by her parents Grayce (Haddick) and James Kuncl, and her husband Orville. Survivors are children Terry (Carol), Kathie (Barry) Michel, Judy Imparato, Pat (William) Schaefer, Jeffrey (Patty), Janet (Edsell) Burris, Jamie (Mitchell) Giesy, Todd, 25 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; special family members Martha Comer, Franco Imparato, Carl Frederickson, sister Janet Kuncl, sister-in-law Vera Thompson, niece Patricia Grodzicki, and scores of friends, including former colleagues and Friendship Force members. Visitation Tuesday, November 27, 2012 from 5 pm to 8 pm at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471Far Hills Avenue at Rahn Road, Kettering, OH. Funeral service 11 am Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at the funeral home. Interment David's Cemetery. In lieu of
