KENDIG, Jeanne C. Age 58, succumbed on February 24, 2016 following a 15 year battle with cancer. Jeanne was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was employed at Stuart Hall at the University of Dayton. Jeanne had a love of dance and over the years she taught at several local studios. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Helen Clark. Survivors include her husband of 39 years, David Kendig; sons, Vincent (Theresa) Kendig, Joseph (fiancé Annie) Kendig and Daniel Kendig; daughters, Elizabeth (Jonathan) Cain, Mary (Cameron) Kirkwood and Michaela Kendig; grandchildren, Ryan, Adam and Lillian Cain; brothers, John Clark II and Gerald Clark; and by her mother-in-law, Elizabeth R. Kendig. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Tobias Funeral Home, 5471 Far Hills Ave. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 3033 Far Hills Ave. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
